Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing, excellent clinical skills, and a passion for providing outstanding patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Assess patient conditions and determine necessary treatment protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to the medical team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with hospital policies.
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (or compact state).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Room or Critical Care setting.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient care needs.
