Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Night Shift)
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Location: Texas
Contract Type: Travel Nurse
Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Location: Texas
Contract Type: Travel Nurse
Duration: 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation) to deliver exceptional patient care in a telemetry setting.
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Manage patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs in alignment with professional nursing practice.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care delivered.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Ensure timely reassessment of patient care needs and progress.
- Demonstrate leadership and self-management in providing patient care and supporting the team.
Education/Skills:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required.
- At least 1 year of experience in Telemetry nursing or a similar clinical setting is preferred.
- Experience working independently in a high-acuity environment.
- RN License in the state of employment or compact state.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required (American Heart Association).
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required (American Heart Association).
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Must be available for full-time work during this shift.
- Competitive travel nurse compensation- Travel Stipend applicable for candidates outside of a 50-mile radius of the hosptial.
- Health insurance during the duration of the assignment.
