Nurses Etc. Staffing is partnering with Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to recruit a full-time Gastroenterologist for an onsite government contract role.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with completed internship and residency

• Board Certified by the American Board of Gastroenterology (Board Eligible considered)

• Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license

• ACLS & BLS required

• Current DEA registration

• Minimum 1 year of recent specialty experience

• U.S. Citizenship required

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat gastroenterological diseases

• Perform procedures such as upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy

• Interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans

• Admit/discharge patients and collaborate with specialty teams

• Provide consultations, teaching, and clinical documentation

• Support clinic operations and ensure high standards of patient care
