Registered Nurse - PACU
Location: Andrews, AFB, MD
Pay: $60-$65/hr.
Schedule: Mon-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Position Qualification/Requirements:
Degree/Education: Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a clinical nurse in the medical/surgical or critical care inpatient setting. Experience with newborn to geriatric population.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in post anesthesia/sedation.
Successfully graduated from a nationally accredited baccalaureate degree program in nursing and holds current certification as a registered nurse (RN).
Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Experience: Competency Assessment: CPR, ACLS, PALS, NRP.
All Nurses: RN need to pass two competency tests; Pharmacology computation and Anaphylactic Shock / Blood Transfusion reaction tests.
Board Certification: must be in compliance with Exhibit 5 requirements for a Registered Nurse – Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
Licensure/Registration: must be in compliance with Exhibit 5 requirements for a Registered Nurse – Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse
