Position: Registered Nurse – ER (Travel)
Location: Indian Health Service (IHS) at Navajo Area Indian Health Service within the Arizona and New Mexico
Schedule:
Shall work shifts following the unit’s hours of 12.5-hour shifts totaling 7 shifts in a 2-week period
May work weekends, holidays, rotating day, mid-level, and night shifts – based on the unit’s need for coverage

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: Shall have thirty-six months of nursing experience with a minimum of twenty-four months in the specialty required by the contract.
- License/Registration: Shall possess a current, valid, unrestricted nursing license in a state, the District of Columbia, The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States, throughout the term of this contract.
- Motor Vehicle Operator’s License: If required by the position, the nurse shall possess a valid state driver’s license throughout the term of this contract.
- Certifications (American Heart Association), Current Basic Life Support (BLS) in mandatory.
- Shall have a degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated state accrediting agency at the time of the program was completed by the applicant.
- Shall have a current BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (Trauma Certification) or ATCN (Advance Trauma Care for Nurses).
- Shall have experience that equips the nurse with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically, in or related to the work of the positions to be filled.
