Position: Oversight Medical Physician
Location: Defense Finance Accounting Services (DFAS), Indianapolis, IN.
Schedule:
DFAS core hours – 8:00AM – 4:30PM
Arriving no earlier than 6:30AM and departing no later than 6:30PM, Monday – Friday, excluding federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings.
Estimated Contract Length: September 30, 2025 – September 30, 2030

Oversight Medical/physician Tasks:
Provides oversight through the use of standing orders and policies/guidance/procedures are required for the aforementioned services. This oversight must also include guidance on the management of medical charts/records.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be board-certified in an appropriate medical specialty (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, or Emergency Medicine); Unrestricted license to practice medicine. This license must be in the state where designated OHC(s) is located, when required. Resident Medical Officer (RMOs) must follow the requirements of State Practice Acts and prevailing local standards of care.
- Current BLS/AED certification
- At least one year of experience providing direct patient care to an adult population.
