Position: Pharmacy Technician
Location: Federal Correctional Complex (FCC), Yazoo City, MS

Schedule:
Monday through Friday (Excluding Federal Holidays), eight sessions per day

7:30AM – 4:00PM

Contract Estimated Start Date: 11/30/2025 (Plus 4 options years)

Education and Experience
The contractor must have knowledge of routine office related duties including working knowledge of computers, word processing programs and be able to type. Must possess the ability to file various documents in chronological order. The contractor must possess good organizational skills, good interpersonal relationship skills and be able to work effectively with the medical staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At a minimum, the contractor must have a medical/technical background obtained through education or on-the-job training in the pharmaceutical field and be a high school graduate or equivalent.
  • The contractor must have computer and typing skills.
  • The contractor must have experience working as a Pharmacy Technician for at least six (6) months and have a certificate of training in Pharmacy Technician services.
  • The contractor must have a valid Mississippi state pharmacy technician license.
  • College level training in the sciences and mathematics and past correctional experience is desirable but is not required.
  • The contractor shall provide proof of CPR certification and evidence acceptable to the Clinical Director of recent testing for immunity to Tuberculosis or other communicable disease.
