Position: Phlebotomist
Location: Federal Correctional Complex (FCC), Yazoo City, MS
Schedule:
Monday through Friday (Excluding Federal Holidays), eight sessions per day
7:30AM – 4:00PM
Contract Estimated Start Date: 11/30/2025 (Plus 4 options years)

QUALIFICATIONS:
- At a minimum, the contractor shall have valid certification to practice in the state of Mississippi as a Medical Assistant, Laboratory Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician or Phlebotomist.
- The contractor must have graduated from an accredited school or program for phlebotomy.
- The contractor must be Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified, in accordance with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- The contractor must provide proof of experience with specimen collection, packaging and shipment to referral laboratories with knowledge of maintaining appropriate records and a minimum of one year of experience as a phlebotomist.
Education and Experience
The contractor must have knowledge of routine office related duties including working knowledge of computers, word processing programs and be able to type. Must possess the ability to file various documents in chronological order. The contractor must possess good organizational skills, good interpersonal relationship skills and be able to work effectively with the medical staff.
