Position: Certified Phlebotomy Technician
Location: VA North Texas Health Care System
- Dallas VA Medical Center, 4500 S. Lancaster Rd., Dallas, TX 75216
- Fort Worth Outpatient Clinic (FWOPC), 2201 SE Loop 820, Fort Worth, TX 76119
Dallas Veteran Affairs Medical Center phlebotomy department provides inpatient services from 04:30am to Midnight, seven days per week.
Outpatient phlebotomy services are offered from 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday, and 6:00am to 2:30pm on Saturday.
Fort Worth Outpatient Center provides outpatient phlebotomy services from 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Contractor shall support the Dallas Veteran Medical Center 7 days per week from 4:30am to 4:30pm, 365 days per year and Fort Worth Outpatient Clinic Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm.

Minimum Qualifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Phlebotomy experience must fulfill one of the following:
- Completion of a certified phlebotomy program and a minimum of 3 months of documented full-time phlebotomy experience
- Medical Laboratory Technician Certification, or ASCP or ASPT Certification a Plus
- Minimum of 3 months of documented full-time phlebotomy experience
- Phlebotomy Experience is at least a minimum of 6 months of documented full time phlebotomy experience
