Position: Medical Assistant
Location: Santa Fe Indian Health Center & Satellite Clinics, Santa Fe, NM (ABQ)

Schedule:

Five days per week, Monday through Friday, estimated varied shifts:

8-hour shift with 1-hour lunch break (8:00 am to 5:00 pm),
8-hour shift with 30-minute lunch break (8:00 am to 4:30 pm) or
10-hour shift with 30-minute lunch break (8:00 am to 6:00 pm), at least 40 hours per week.

Contract Estimated Length: 2026 – 2030

Minimum Qualifications:
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) are preferred for each appropriate duty section at the time of employment and throughout as applicable.

Degree or diploma from a medical assistant program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency

Must be high school graduate and possess a valid diploma, working towards an associate’s degree.

Must possess a current, valid, unrestricted medical assistant license in a state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States, throughout the term of this contract.

Must have some experience, with a minimum of twelve months, unless otherwise approved by the Contracting Officer. The Contractor must have a resume that provides experience that equips the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.

Contractors may be required to operate Government-Owned (GSA) vehicles. If required to operate a GSV vehicle, the SFIHC will provide the necessary training to operate GSV vehicles to contractor staff.
