Nurses Etc Staffing is seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Jackson, MS. This opportunity is ideal for CVOR nurses who thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment and are experienced in caring for cardiovascular surgical patients throughout the perioperative process.

Compensation:

$38/hr

$1,246/week stipend

$2,766/week gross

Position Overview

The CVOR RN provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical procedures. Responsibilities include preoperative assessment, intraoperative support, and postoperative care in collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia, and the surgical team.

Key duties include:

Circulating and assisting during open-heart and vascular procedures

Maintaining a sterile surgical environment and ensuring patient safety

Managing surgical equipment, supplies, and documentation

Monitoring patient status and responding to intraoperative changes

Collaborating with the multidisciplinary OR team to ensure optimal outcomes

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience

Strong knowledge of cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgical procedures

Ability to function independently in a high-acuity OR setting

Active RN license (state license requirements apply)

ACLS and BLS required
