Position: Anesthesiologist
Location: Department of Veterans Affairs, Columbia, SC


Schedule:
VA Hours of Operation/Scheduling
VA Business Hours: 0700 – 1530 EST
Clinic or OR Schedule: 7 days a week, 24 Hour coverage

Off-hours Coverage: Anesthesiologist shall be available The Surgery department is required to provide anesthesia medical /care, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to include nights, weekends, and holidays. Coverage needed to support the department’s mission of providing timely anesthesia care for patients. Up to two (2) Anesthesiologist providing 8 hours of shift coverage from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30pm. After 3:30pm 1 person will begin call/afterhours care, until 7am following day.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in accordance with American Board of Anesthesiology Standards.
• Licensed (current and full and unrestricted)
• BLS/ACLS
