Assignment Details:
Location: Ithaca, New York
Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36
Shift Details: 12H, Must be able to work either mid or night shift
Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd weekend
On Call Requirements: None
Pay: $2,540 ($972 taxable + $1,568 stipend)

Unit Information:
- 21 monitored beds, 5 psych safe treatment rooms, and 3 hall beds that are routinely used = 29 beds.
- Ratio: 4-5:1 depending on acuity.
- The department has a dedicated case manager and social worker during business hours 7 days per week.
- The Crisis Evaluators are ED personnel that do mental health evaluations.
- ED techs are staffed and trained in phlebotomy, EKGs, patient safety observation, etc.
- Provider staffing includes 3 MDs and 2 PAs working each 24hour period.
- Chest pain accredited organization and a primary stroke center
Requirements:
- 2+ years of related recent experience
- At least 1 travel contract completed
- Active NY state license
- Certifications: BLS
