Area: Katy Independent School District
- Address: 6301 S. Stadium Lane, Katy, TX 77494
- Contract Length: 08/12/26 to 05/26/27, 42 weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 2:45 PM
- Pay for travel: $2,108 ($862 taxable + $1,246 stipend) $22/hr
- Pay for local: $51/hr
- SLP-As are not eligible for this position
- School-based experience preferred
- High school caseload. We also have Middle school and Elementary openings
- Full time and Part time available
- SLP State Certification
- Pediatric experience
- ASHA Certification Preferred
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills and support academic success.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into students’ educational programs.
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing clear reports and updates on student progress.
- Monitor progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on ongoing assessments and collaboration.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Stay current with best practices through research and ongoing professional development.
