About the Role
Nurses Etc. Staffing is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health Care Facilitator (BHCF) to join our dedicated healthcare team in supporting the behavioral health needs of our military population. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a structured, multidisciplinary environment while working a stable weekday schedule with no on-call or weekend requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as a behavioral health care facilitator supporting patients with psychiatric or mental/behavioral health conditions.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate post-hospital care and monitor stabilization of acute illnesses.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare staff to assess needs, limitations, and treatment plans.

Utilize electronic medical record systems for documentation, coordination, and reporting.

Support care planning and follow-up for adult and geriatric patients within a military healthcare setting.
Qualifications
Education & Certification:
-
BSN
-
Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience:
-
Minimum of 3 years of full-time nursing experience.

At least 2 years’ experience in psychiatric or mental/behavioral health nursing within the last 3 calendar years.

Proficiency in computer operations, data entry, and electronic medical record systems (AHLTA and Genesis experience preferred).

Demonstrated understanding of mental health care levels, disease processes, and stabilization care.
Additional Requirements:

Completion of the DoD/Air Force 5-day BHCF training may be required (travel info provided during onboarding).

Must pass BHCF training core competencies within 90 calendar days.

Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with patients in crisis, team members, and leadership.

Must meet Exhibit 5 requirements for Registered Nurse Board Certification.
