Position: MRI Technologist
Location: Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, VA

Nurses Etc. Staffing is seeking dedicated MRI Technologists to join our team at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA. We have immediate openings for the following shifts:

• PRN Evening Shift
• Full Time / PRN Night Shift
• PRN Weekends

Position Qualification/Requirements:

• Possess and maintains a current registration as a Radiological Technologist with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with a subspecialty certification as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist as determined by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Experience: Must be working as a full time MRI technologist of at least eighteen (18) continuous months within the preceding twenty-four (24) months, to include experience with digital imaging and electronic Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
• Possess experience operating MRI equipment at a 1.5T or 3.0T field strength.
• Possess ARRT approved continuing medical education of at least 12 hours within the last 12 months.
• Active BLS from either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
