Job Description:
UnityPoint Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center is seeking experienced, compassionate, and flexible Per Diem Emergency Room RNs to join our dedicated team. As an integral member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide expert care to patients and families in a fast-paced emergency setting. Shift times vary between 5:00 PM and 7:00 AM, offering flexible scheduling for work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department using nursing processes.

• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members.

• Maintain a safe and compliant care environment consistent with UnityPoint’s Professional Nurse Practice Model and ANA Code of Ethics.

• Respond to emergencies and trauma situations with professionalism and clinical expertise.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of Emergency Room RN experience – Required

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program – Required

• BSN – Preferred

• Active RN license in Iowa or compact state – Required

• Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA) – Required

  • ACLS (AHA) – Required

  • PALS (AHA) – Required

  • TNCC – Required
