Donald L. Mooney Enterprises, LLC dba NURSES Etc STAFFING is sourcing qualified Phlebotomists for the White River Junction VA Medical Center. 

Standards of Care: The contractor’s personnel care shall cover the range of laboratory services, as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized The Joint Commission, VA and national standards.

• Must have three (3) years of recent Phlebotomy experience.
• Estimated contract start and end date: 11/2025 - 10/2026

Requirements:
The Contractor’s personnel may work in multiple areas of the lab as determined by the needs of the service at that time and shall be responsible for providing the following service:

• The employee will perform patient phlebotomy to include inpatient ward rounds, inpatient and outpatient, Emergency Department (ED), STAT, as soon as possible (ASAP), and timed draws.
• The employee will perform sample processing and send out preparation.
• As part of safety, positively identifies patients prior to sample collection and samples prior to testing or aliquoting.
• As part of safety and safeguards electronic and paper patient information. Identifies, documents, and resolves any collection, or processing issues. 
• Assures patient-centered care and provides service in a manner that is professional and will avoid complaints from all stakeholders and customers.

VA Business Hours: The contractor may be required to provide services during the following times:
(Dayshift) 6:00A - 2:30P 6:30A - 3:00P 7:00A - 3:30P 7:30A - 4:00P 8:00A - 4:30P

The employee may also be required to work weekends, holidays, and overtime. However, on call or standby duties will NOT be required.
