Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
• Current and valid state licensure (or eligibility) to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia
• Experience working with children, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Evaluate students to determine need for physical therapy services in an educational setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
• Provide direct physical therapy services to students, focusing on improving motor skills, mobility, and independence in school settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to support student development and progress.
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress notes, and service delivery.
