Donald L. Mooney Enterprises, LLC dba NURSES Etc STAFFING is sourcing a qualified Registered Nurse Emergency Room for the Indian Health Service (IHS) at Navajo Area Indian Health Service within the State of Arizona & New Mexico.
The Navajo Area Indian Health Services (NAIHS) oversees healthcare delivery to about 201,583 members of the Navajo Nation, the largest tribe in the U.S., with a reservation covering over 25,516 square miles across Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah. NAIHS provides inpatient, outpatient, preventive, community, and environmental health services to the Navajo Nation and the San Juan Southern Paiute Tribe.
The Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility (CCHCF) serves around 35,000 Navajo people in a rural area, where many patients lack electricity or running water and must travel long distances for care. Many elderly patients speak only Navajo and follow traditional practices. CCHCF includes a 60-bed hospital and an ambulatory care center.
Schedule: The nurse shall work shifts following the unit’s hours of 12.5-hour shifts totaling 7 shifts in a 2- week period, may work weekends, holidays, rotating day, mid-level, and night shifts, as scheduled by the SCN based on the unit’s need for coverage.

The nurse shall perform nursing duties and manage patient’s needs identified by the Service Unit and as directed by Supervisor.

The nurse shall perform in accordance with the competency standards

Provide Full Range of Emergency Care to patients of all age ranges. Exercise knowledge of the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) triage process to guide decision-making and rapidly access patients requiring emergency care.
