Job Title: Clinical Psychologist- Mental Health
Location: Nellis AFB, NV
Pay: Competitive
Schedule: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm M-F --OR-- 7:30 am - 6:30 pm M-Th
*On call Hours: Tuesday at 3:30 pm and end the following Tuesday at 7:30 am (rotation with team).
What we’re Looking for in a Clinical Psychologist:
Education: Have a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or (Psy.D.) degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA accredited psychology program or a program acceptable to the Office of the Surgeon General, U.S. Air Force. Shall have completed an APA accredited internship/residency in professional psychology or an internship/residency acceptable to the Office of the Surgeon General, U.S. Air Force
Certification: Basic Life Support. BLS training needs to be from either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Experience: Must have a minimum of two years’ experience as a clinical psychologist post completion of an APA accredited Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program. Additionally, the candidate is required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions.
Licensure/Registration: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist.
