Case Management Director – Travel Contract | Des Moines, IA
Nurses Etc Staffing is seeking an experienced Case Management Director for a high-level travel leadership opportunity in Des Moines, IA. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Care Management or Case Management leader who is ready to step into a large-scale leadership role overseeing care management operations across a multi-hospital healthcare system.
We are looking for a strategic, innovative, hands-on leader who can quickly build relationships, identify opportunities for improvement, and make an immediate impact on patient flow, discharge planning, utilization, readmissions, team performance, and overall operational efficiency.
Assignment Details
Location: Des Moines, IA
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Days
Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Weekly Rate: $4,800–$5,200/week
Travel Reimbursement: Flight or mileage reimbursement available
Lodging: Lodging reimbursement available
Orientation: Multiple orientation dates available
Requirements
- 36+ months of Care Management/Case Management experience required
- 36+ months of progressive or interim leadership experience required
- Experience leading care management, case management, population health, or related healthcare operations
- BSN, Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, LISW/Licensed Independent Social Worker, or equivalent education in Healthcare Management required
- EPIC experience highly preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills required; Excel and Power BI experience preferred
Travel & Reimbursement
Nurses Etc Staffing offers a competitive weekly rate of $4,800–$5,200/week, based on experience and qualifications.
In addition to the weekly rate, eligible travel expenses may be reimbursed, including:
- Flight reimbursement
- Mileage reimbursement for candidates who drive
- Lodging reimbursement with receipt
Submission Requirements
Candidates must have:
- Updated resume/work history demonstrating at least 36 months of recent Care Management, Case Management, or Social Work experience
- Active Iowa RN license or Compact/Multistate license at the time of submission, if applicable
- Valid Driver’s License
- Recent professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, COO, or other appropriate leader preferred
