Position: Medical Transcriptionist
Location: Lt. Col Luke Weathers Jr Medical Center (VAMC), Memphis, TN

HOURS OF OPERATION/SCHEDULING:
Normal working hours: Monday through Sunday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 pm., 3:30 p.m.- 12 a.m., 11:30 p.m. – 8:00 a.m., local time excluding Federal holidays.

May be required to work off tours as well as rotating weekends.

Description of Duties:

• Will be assigned duties in a Pathology/Laboratory setting. Will transcribe from oral dictation and voice recognition software.

• The Medical Transcriptionist must possess appropriate experience working in Pathology/Laboratory or equivalent Medical Transcriptionist experience. Must possess the ability to transcribe from oral dictation and voice recognition software.
